Our premium adventure begins at 04:30 AM with a private pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We will embark on a scenic 3-hour drive through the beautiful landscapes of the Limatambo Valley to the small village of Mollepata, where we will stop for an energizing breakfast. Afterward, we continue by transport to Challacancha, the starting point of our trek.
From Challacancha, we start a smooth hike along an ancient restored Inca aqueduct that leads us directly to our base camp in Soraypampa, arriving around midday just in time for a fresh, chef-prepared lunch. After a short rest, we tackle the rewarding afternoon steep ascent to the breathtaking Humantay Lake (4,200m / 13,779ft). You will have plenty of time to enjoy the pristine turquoise waters and take spectacular photos at the foot of the snow-capped peak. We then descend back to Soraypampa for a warm dinner under the starry Andean sky.

Wake up early at 05:00 AM to a hot cup of coca tea delivered to your tent. Today is the most physically demanding yet deeply rewarding day of the trek. After breakfast, we begin a gradual, challenging zigzag ascent toward the highest point of the trail: the legendary Salkantay Pass (4,630m / 15,190ft).
Reaching the summit rewards you with unparalleled, close-up views of the massive glacier ice fields of Mount Salkantay (6,271m). After a traditional offering to the mountain gods (Apus), we begin our descent through a dramatic rocky landscape toward Huayracmachay for a well-deserved lunch. In the afternoon, the climate transitions rapidly from the freezing alpine tundra into the warm, lush, and green Amazonian high jungle cloud forest. We arrive at our campsite in Chaullay / Collpapampa by evening for dinner and overnight rest.

We start our hike at 06:00 AM following the path of the Santa Teresa River. Today’s trek is an absolute paradise for wildlife observation and nature photography. You will walk through organic coffee farms, fields of passion fruit, and orchid-filled valleys. Keep an eye out for exotic birds like the Cock-of-the-Rock (Peru's national bird) and beautiful toucanets.
We reach La Playa (Sahuayaco) for lunch. From here, to optimize our 4-day express schedule and avoid walking along a dusty vehicular road, we take an official local transport directly to the Hydroelectric station. From Hydroelectric, we enjoy a flat, scenic 3-hour hike alongside the train tracks and the Urubamba River, leading us straight into the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Upon arrival, you check into your comfortable hotel and enjoy a celebratory dinner at a local restaurant.

The grand finale! After an early breakfast at your hotel, we board the official shuttle bus up to the archaeological park of Machu Picchu. We will enter the citadel early to experience the breathtaking sight of the sunrise over the stone structures.
Your expert tour guide will lead you on a private 2.5-hour historical circuit through the main sectors: temples, palaces, agricultural terraces, and sacred plazas. After capturing the iconic classic photos, we return by bus to Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon, you will board the Expedition / Voyager return train to Ollantaytambo station, where our private transport awaits to drive you smoothly back to your hotel room in Cusco, arriving around 08:30 PM.
