Day 01 Detailed Itinerary - City Tour Arequipa

Step-by-Step Exploration of the White City

Your tour begins with a convenient pickup directly from your centrally located hotel in Arequipa. Our first stop is the stunning Carmen Alto Viewpoint, located on the right side of the Chili River. Here, you will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the traditional agricultural terraces and the three majestic volcanoes guarding the city: Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Picchu.

Next, we drive to the colonial district of Yanahuara. You will stroll through its picturesque cobblestone streets and visit its famous 18th-century church. The highlight here is the iconic Yanahuara Arches, built from carved sillar stone, which frame a legendary postcard-perfect view of Mount Misti and the city downtown.

We then head back to the Historic Center to explore the majestic Plaza de Armas, widely considered one of the most beautiful main squares in South America.
